Rafael Perez-Escamilla, M.S., Ph.D., Doctor Honoris Causa
Rafael Perez-Escamilla is a tenured Professor of Epidemiology & Public Health and Director of the Global Health Concentration and the Office of Public Health Practice at the Yale School of Public Health. His maternal-child nutrition research program has led to improvements in breastfeeding, childhood obesity, childhood anemia, and household food security policies and programs in Connecticut, the U.S. and globally. He has been a senior scientific advisor to UNICEF, the World Health Organization, FAO, the World Bank, and many more.
