June 9, 2021 – From cyberattacks to regional conflicts, U.S.-Russia relations are the rockiest they have been for decades. On Wednesday, June 16, President Biden and President Putin will meet for the first time since President Biden entered office. In advance of the meeting, Dr. Fiona Hill joins Megan Torrey to discuss what’s at stake for this historic summit.

Dr. Fiona Hill is a senior fellow at Brookings, who recently served as deputy assistant to the president and senior director for European and Russian affairs on the National Security Council (2017 to 2019).
