Second Monday with CTWAC | October

October 13, 2025 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Join fellow friends and members of the World Affairs Council over dinner on the issues impacting our world. Connect and engage with others, share your thoughts, and explore how we can secure our global future.

Topic: A New Era of Foreign Policy
America’s foreign policy is evolving. New approaches to global conflicts, rising tensions with allies, cuts to foreign aid and diplomacy, and a retreat from multilateral institutions signal a rethinking of the U.S.’ role in the world.
This month, we’ll explore what these changes mean for the alliances, institutions, and norms that have long underpinned global security. Is America trading in its soft power for a unilateral and assertive approach – or is it a strategic response to an increasingly uncertain global order? As long-held norms face new pressures, what vision, if any, is taking shape for America’s role in the world?
This is a no-homework event, but supplemental articles will be provided to attendees.
