| Around the world, decisive elections have dominated headlines in Canada, Australia, Singapore, Germany, and more. While some parties aligned with Trump have made gains in Germany and Romania, liberal parties saw resounding wins in elections in Canada, Australia, and Singapore. Are these election outcomes indicative of an anti-Trump trend? If these election outcomes are in fact a direct reaction to President Trump’s policies, what does this mean for the U.S’ role on the world stage? This is a no-homework event, but supplemental articles will be provided to attendees. |
