| This weekend’s U.S.-Israel strikes on Iran – which killed Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and other senior leaders – have shaken the region and plunged the world into uncertainty. Iran and its allies have retaliated with missile and drone attacks on U.S. bases and military sites across the region, while the U.S. President weighs an extended war against Iran. Do these strikes open the door for regime change in Iran, or is the Middle East now headed towards a wider war? What comes next for regional stability, global oil markets, and international security? This is a no-homework event, but supplemental readings will be provided to attendees |
