Second Monday with CTWAC | June 2026

June 8 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Join fellow World Affairs Council members and friends in conversation over dinner on the issues impacting our world. Connect and engage with others, share your thoughts, and explore how we can secure our global future.

Topic: A New Monroe Doctrine?
From Cuba and Venezuela to Greenland and the Panama Canal, recent U.S. actions raise a larger question: can any country still claim a sphere of influence in a globalized world? What would such a strategy mean for U.S. foreign policy, America’s competitors, and the future of the Western Hemisphere?
This is a no-homework event, but supplemental readings will be provided to attendees
