With Brazil’s dramatic ban on X (formerly Twitter) and Telegram’s turbulent relationship with the EU, the battle against disinformation is heating up globally – especially with the looming U.S. election. How can governments work with (or against) tech companies to crack down on mis/disinformation without stifling free speech? This is a no-homework event, but supplemental articles will be provided to attendees. |
