Global Changemakers with H.E. Roya Rahmani | International Women’s Day 2024

March 5, 2024 – Former Afghan Ambassador Roya Rahmani joined us in conversation with CTWAC CEO Megan Torrey to mark International Women’s Day at the University of Saint Joseph on the issues facing women in Afghanistan and around the world.

Amb. Rahmani has been a leader in the fight for Afghan women’s rights and a champion for women’s rights and economic empowerment globally.

This important event represents an ongoing collaboration between the Women’s Leadership Center at the University of Saint Joseph and the World Affairs Council of Connecticut. Each year we join forces for International Women’s Day to recognize the contributions of women globally and highlight the women leading us.
