DESCRIPTION:The World Affairs Council of CT held its very first Model United Nations program in 1952 and since then thousands of individuals across the state have benefited from it. \nThe 2017 Model United Nations conference gives students the opportunity to engage in debate over a wide range of topics that revolve around the theme: Security in a Shifting World. \nThe participants will also travel to the UN Missions in NYC on October 26 to be briefed by the countries they have chosen to represent. The program culminates on December 1 and 2 at the University of Hartford. \nConference Dates:  \nFriday\, December 1 | 2:30pm – 8:00pm \nSaturday\, December 2 | 9:15am – 2:00pm
