WACCT membership is made up of diverse, active global thinkers from across the state. From business executives, to foreign affairs experts, to young professionals and students, the Council’s members form a large community of people interested in discussing critical global issues. Don’t miss our monthly newsletter, which highlights a different WACCT member each month!

We encourage members of the CT educational community to become involved with the World Affairs Council! For students, we offer discounted membership (link to membership) and many of our programs are free for students. The Council also periodically offers programs specially geared towards teachers and educators, which always appear on our online calendar.

We are currently in the process of revamping our Young Professionals program. In the near future, we are planning a series of fun and interesting globally minded events for young adults and professionals in the Hartford area. Subscribe for emails to keep updated, and check back soon!
